Managing large teams spread over 3 production sites in Tamil Nadu, and a training centre and polyhouse in Karnataka, isn’t always easy, but as a company, we find things go a lot more smoothly if we can get senior team members together from time-to-time, to chat, learn from one another, and have fun. With this in mind, we recently planned an overnight trip to Bangalore, during which our Tamilian crew, could meet some of our newest team members in Karnataka, and vice versa.

Once we touched down, it was off to the training centre for a spot of learning. Those responsible for producing our premium cocopeat substrates got to see how the bags are used and managed by growers in the field, and perhaps most importantly, got to taste our deliciously sweet cherry tomatoes and bell peppers, fresh from the vine! Then, following a quick lunch, we headed into the city for some well-deserved fun, in the form of ten pin bowling and an escape room challenge. Plenty of eating and drinking was also on the cards, and as per usual, our men didn’t disappoint when it came to consuming vast quantities of spicy fare!

Although the trip was a short one, we hope it was as fulfilling for everyone involved as we had intended it to be; it was certainly inspiring to see everyone coming together in the name of Biogrow.
